Key Stage 2 Learning Resources

Welcome to the Key Stage 2 Resources Page

Here are some resources you can use to support your child’s learning at home. We hope you find them useful!

White Rose Maths Our school has a subscription to these resources; your child’s class teacher may direct you to which lessons are being covered each week, and send you the worksheets that go with the videos through the class email. (You can also get printed versions by contacting the school office).

BBC Bitesize Daily Lessons are available online. There are resources for homes learning in Maths and English for every year group, as well as regular lessons in Science, History, Geography and more. Your child’s class teacher will let you know through the weekly planning which lessons to focus on. Just check the class email.

You can see which lessons are coming up for your child’s year group by looking at the schedules, which are published in advance.

The regular BBC KS2 Bitesize still has lots of other useful resources organised by subject.

The Oak National Academy is a a new collection of online lessons and resources, created in response to the coronavirus lockdown. There are video lessons, quizzes and worksheets, and they cover a range of subjects.

Top Marks have lots of games and activities to support learning and practice at home. We use ‘Hit the Button’ and ‘Daily 10’ frequently with pupils in school.

Oxford Owl have a library of e-books available free of charge (you will need to register to access them). There are also worksheets to print off and maths games to play. You can also access spelling activities which match your child’s school spelling book.

Twinkl have a lot of home learning activities to pick and choose from, as well as home learning packs and advice for parents.

Don’t forget to get outside and get your daily exercise as well as all that studying.
