Latest Ofsted Report
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website.
We were very pleased to maintain our ‘good’ rating in our most recent inspection (March, 2023).

Levels of Achievement for Summer 2023
Each year chidlren in Reception, Year 2 and Year 6 are asssessed to determine their attainment level against the national average. Below are our end of key stage results for 22/23.

Levels of Achievement for Summer 2022
The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
Levels of Achievement for Summer 2020 and 2021
Each year children in Reception, Year 2 and Year 6 are assessed to determine their attainment level against the national average. Statutory testing was suspended in 2020 and 2021 due to school closures during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The School Performance Data for 2020 is not available. This is because the 2019/20 national curriculum assessments did not take place due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Government will not publish any primary school assessments for the 2019 to 2020 academic year.
The following assessments assessments did not take place in 2020:
- early years foundation stage profile
- phonics
- key stage 1 tests
- multiplication tables check
- key stage 2 tests
School Performance
Many parents are keen to see how we are performing in relation to other schools.
In previous years, the Government School Performance Tables have provided a reliable and accessible source of comparative information on pupil attainment and progress, absence, workforce and finance. The Performance Tables show progress scores in reading, writing and mathematics and the percentage of pupils meeting expected and higher standards in each subject. Invite to Appear in the Parliamentary Review
Blackhall Primary School was invited to appear in the 2016/17 Primary Edition of the The Parliamentary Review to showcase our school’s best practice in being one of the most improved schools in the country. We are very proud of this accolade for our school.
